During the Implementation Support Mission carried out on Oct , a team from NPCT, COG and World Bank led by Director Lilian Kieni the NPCT Coordinator visited various Municipalities to to asses and discuss on the following under UIG /UDG programs
Program funds: UIG1/UIG2 and UDG1 received , committed, spent; investment list and status
Procurement and contract management: tenders, awards, signing dates, mobilization, contractor performance, variations and supervision
Financial management: funds transfer, reporting and internal audit
E&S, OHS, GRM and land/ROW: screening and instruments, GRM register and SEA/SH pathways, land due diligence. E&S/OHS: PPE, signage, site safety, ESMP compliance
UDG2/UDG3 and APA3 readiness: designs, BOQs, safeguards, procurement documents, County Assembly approvals and agreed on action points, owner and deadlines.
