The National Programme Coordination Team, alongside the National Construction Authority (NCA), conducted site visits across 15 municipalities to review and guide proposed urban development projects.

The main objective of these clinics was to strengthen the technical capacity of municipalities to develop compliant, high-quality, and implementation-ready market infrastructure proposals – thereby reducing design deficiencies, minimizing costly variations, and improving overall project delivery.

The team assessed compliance and refined project designs, including the proposed construction of a glass curtain wall at Chuka open-air market. Consultative meetings were held with municipal managers and technical teams, including in Maua and Meru.
